HOME GROWN TEES

BONDS ANNOUNCES HOME GROWN TALENT AS FACE OF TEES CAMPAIGN

Bonds has announced talented Australian fashion pack Cody Simpson, Maia Mitchell and Charlee Fraser to front their new tees campaign that highlights home grown talent, launching nationally August 6th.

Bonds’ Home Grown Tees campaign celebrates Bonds’ new range of tees made out of Australian cotton. A new range of soft, comfy tees available in a range of shapes and fits, Bonds’ Home Grown Tees is a celebration of all things Australian. After years of development, Bonds have created the perfect t-shirts in a range of hues, following their legacy of supplying Aussies with comfortable yet stylish clothing.

Designed by Aussies for Aussies, the campaign highlights home grown talent Cody Simpson hailing from the Gold Coast, Maia Mitchell from Lismore and Charlee Fraser from Newcastle.

Excited to join the Bonds family, these three millennials are exceptional talent, all carving their way in the world of music, arts and fashion.

CODY SIMPSON

At just 20 years of age, Cody has already fit a lot into his life, progressing as a musician at an astounding pace. From humble beginnings on the Gold Coast as a 13-year-old Youtube sensation, to moving to LA with his family and selling out tours around the world, Cody has appeared on Billboard's 21 Under 21 List 4 years in a row. "Home to Mama," a single released with Justin Bieber in 2014, garnered over 1 million mentions in just one day on Twitter. Recently, Cody has left Atlantic Records and started his own record label called Coast House Records, playing in a band called Coast House Collective.

MAIA MITCHELL

Maia is a 22-year-old Aussie singer and actress that plays a lead role on US ABC TV drama, The Fosters. Relatively undiscovered in her home country, she has a huge social media profile with 3.5M followers. Maia is a bubbly millennial who’s proud as ever to hail from down under. From Lismore, Maia was a tween star, featuring on Aussie kids TV shows Trapped & Mortified, she made the leap to LA and landed a role in a Disney TV film in 2013.

CHARLEE FRASER

At just 21, Charlee is the first Indigenous model to make waves in the international fashion scene. One of the top faces in 2016's international catwalks, Fraser finds herself at the vanguard of an emerging cadre of ethnically diverse Australian faces who are challenging the “Aussie beach babe” stereotype.

The new Bonds Home Grown Tees range will be available from Mid-August in Bonds stores and Bonds.com.au.

SHERIDAN CELEBRATES 50 YEARS WITH KEN DONE

SHERIDAN CELEBRATES 50 YEARS WITH KEN DONE

To celebrate 50 years of Sheridan, we honour one of our most iconic moments of artistry throughout our history, with a modern retrospective in partnership with quintessential Australian artist, Ken Done.

The collection is a contemporary take on Done’s original collaboration with Sheridan in the 1980s, which marked a truly ground breaking moment in the home and lifestyle landscape of the time, bringing bold art and colour into the home.

The celebratory artistic collaboration is an ode to Sheridan’s unique history of supporting local artistic talent and harnessing a uniquely Australian creative spirit and essence since 1967, which began with Sheridan founder and entrepreneur of the arts, environment and textiles, Claudio Alcorso.

The collection features a limited edition series of two quilt covers, two cushions, and one beach towel
all showcasing Ken Done’s signature painterly brush strokes and vibrant colours,
which form part of Sheridan’s Spring / Summer 17 Collection.
