Bonds celebrate their 100th birthday year with the announcement of it-girl Iggy Azalea! The ARC team travelled to LA earlier this year with photographer Thomas Whiteside and stylist Nicole Bonython to shoot the Australian-born chart topping rapper in the new BONDS100 range.
The collection is an instantly recognisable featuring statement-making monochrome, logo waistbands and eye-popping prints to be worn with effortlessly cool confidence.

Finishing up at 2am, the entire team couldn’t get enough of Iggy. Whilst she is known for her superstar status, Iggy’s amazing energy and down-to-earth persona on set was extremely refreshing. Her witty attitude and charm is evident in the BTS video you can check out here!

Iggy also had great chemistry with photographer Thomas Whiteside, who has shot some of the world’s most recognisable faces including Taylor Swift, Lorde, Keira Knightley and Nicki Minaj.

It’s BONDS 100th birthday! To celebrate, we’ve just launched THE CLASSICS campaign. ARC travelled to New York and LA earlier this month with fashion photographer Steven Chee and super stylist Nicole Bonython to shoot a stellar line up of iconic former ambassadors including Rachael Taylor, Kelly Gale, Samara Weaving, Ruby Rose, Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor, Jack Vanderhart & Sarah Stephens.

After five days, six flights, eleven suitcases and eight BONDS babes, the team worked around the clock to create one of BONDS most iconic campaigns to kick off their 100th birthday celebrations!

The campaign pays homage to BONDS heritage with the reinvigoration of the brands classic styles. Staples of every Australian’s wardrobe, the Bikini, Boyleg, Chesty, Tube Bra, Guy Front, Sloppy, Trackie, Keenie, Cottontail & newest style, Hot Shortie, are all celebrated in the launch of THE CLASSICS campaign.

BONDS has always celebrated great Australian talents early in their careers, including international model and style icon Miranda Kerr who joined the brand in 2003; Sarah Stephens in 2004 and again in 2013, followed by Ruby Rose and Elyse Taylor in 2009; Rachael Taylor in 2010; Samara Weaving in 2012; Jack Vanderhart in 2013 and finishing up with Kelly Gale in 2014.

ARC gave these ambassadors creative reign for a fun video directed by one of BONDS favourite ambassadors, actress and filmmaker, Rachael Taylor – generating mass social media engagement via #BONDS100. Check it out here.

Off the back of this huge three day shoot, Steven & Nicole were still able to fit in one of the sexiest editorial shoots of this year, featured in Sunday Style. The ladies of the Classics Campaign smoulder in nothing but black leather and all of BONDS favourite pieces!

ARC has brought home two of Australia's most in demand expats, international model Elyse Taylor, and film star Jai Courtney for the launch of BONDS new Chambray shirt. 

We recently shot the pair for BONDS in Sydney and as well as turning on the chemistry for our cameras, Jai and Elyse showed off the very best of BONDS Autumn/Winter range.

 Both Jai and Elyse have had huge years. Jai starred in multiple blockbusters, including Divergent, Unbroken and The Water Diviner. Newly married Elyse, on the other hand, has been spending time with her newborn baby, Lila. Elyse hasn’t bared her undies for BONDS since 2009, and has since walked for Victoria’s Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger and Moschino, and has appeared twice on the cover of Australian Vogue but eight months on from giving birth to her gorgeous daughter Lila, she is looking more radiant than ever!

Whilst she admits that her body changed radically after giving birth, Elyse now works with trainer, Justin Gelband when in New York, and also likes to swim and do low impact high repetition exercise to keep her physique in its prime. As well as plans to raise baby Lila in Australia, Elyse and husband Seth Campbell hope to extend their family in the coming years.

Elyse is a true Aussie success story and we can’t wait to see more of her in BONDS!
